Invited Talk: Integrating Ethics into AI Tool Development in Healthcare
ABOUT THE EVENT:
‘The Thomas A. Pitts Lectureship in Medical Ethics is an educational series in biomedical
ethics that was established several years ago by a bequest from Dr. Pitts to the Medical
University of South Carolina. The fund is used to bring together a group of scholars each
year to explore a particular area of biomedical ethics and health policy.
The 27th Annual Lectureship takes place as a fully virtual conference February 19, 2021
and addresses “Artificial Intelligence in Health Care: Ethical Implications”. Nationally known figures in their respective fields speak on the ethical implications of AI in health care from their particular perspectives.’
This year’s speakers include:
